MEta-cognition and thinking skills

Pupils often have flawed beliefs about their own learning, leading to poor planning and a lack of resilience. This workshop explains key metacognition concepts to teachers, and provides a set of tools for making simple but effective changes to classroom practice.

Study skills for exam success

Study skills are so important to attainment, but all too often pupils are told ‘work hard’ without being taught how best to do this! In this workshop, evidence-based study strategies are clearly explained, with guidance on how to help learners form habits that will lead to exam success.
